50th Birthday! Designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell, Toronto City Hall opened in 1965 and is home to the municipal government of Toronto. Some may call it an icon. Toronto City Hall is the backdrop to the many cultural events which take place at Nathan Phillips Square.
